You have come to the point in your life where you are opening up to the question “Do I need a business coach?”  Well, I can assure you, if you are having that question arise, then the answer is ‘Yes! You do deserve coaching.’  This question has been aroused in you for a couple of reasons, and this question is answered so easily for one reason.  Here we will help you understand why.

This question has popped up either because you are encountering some major challenges and looking for some assistance in overcoming them.  Or, this question has popped up because you believe in coaching to set new bars in your business and life.  Equally as important is the answer.  We begin our life with a coach….called parents.  They teach us to speak, walk, eat, behave, and so on.  Then we go to school and we have coaches or teachers to lead us to learn many different things.  On through high school and college we have teachers and coaches.  Somewhere, after our traditional education we let go of the idea to have a coach or teacher and we just go follow our career.  Some of us will find a mentor through our career to lead us but that usually does not last long.  Then we see people with ultra success and we ask ourselves “Why, don’t I have that level of success?”  The answer is because those people have some type of coach, mentor, or teacher.  The best of the best in any venture have coaches.  Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, Tiger Woods, they all have coaches and for us to continue and hold our success in whatever we choose we need a coach.  It does not matter if it is small business coaching, relationship coaching, life coaching, or spiritual coaching they are essential to have and to follow.

The author invites you to learn more about small business coaching and entrepreneurial skills necessary for success.

Of Coaching And Teamwork Workshops

We often think of sporting events when we hear the term coach. However, coaches are not only found in football fields, basketball courts or in the locker rooms. They are also present in our places of work – no matter what the nature of our job is. A professional coach is someone who can support us through the process of attaining personal or professional goals. There are several coaches out there and each of them can have different coaching styles. Nevertheless, they all come down to common denominator: their job us facilitating in nature. They tend to ask a lot of questions but we cannot expect them to give us counsel or therapy.

So what exactly is a coach? More importantly, what does a coach exactly do? Coaches help us better understand our roles in the organization, and how our actions and decisions can impact other people around us. Coaching can be done with a group or it can also be one-on-one. Coaches help us in the key part of our learning development. In fact, several organizations consider this technique as crucial to their strategy. While managers can learn the basic skills in this craft, there are some organizations that prefer bringing in third-party professional coaches to the company.

Coaching can also help managers update their leadership abilities and their management skills. The effects of such can be applied in team meetings, teamwork workshops, and similar, more traditional venues for group facilitation. Some view this concept as similar to tutoring however, there can be some differences. It is not the same as instructing where an instructor simply disseminates knowledge. It also differs from mentoring where a mentor shapes mental attitudes. We can view this as an instructor training us for immediate tasks, a mentor giving us life shaping, and a coach supporting us in our achievements.

This concept can be viewed in many different ways, just like mentoring and the different styles of line management and training. It is further complicated by the seemingly overlapping of many of these activities. But simply put, this concept can be viewed as the manner by which a coach is able to identify the skills and capabilities that are within a person that will help him or her achieve goals through using them to the best of their ability. And in this manner, thereby increasing independence and minimizing reliance.

If you are recommended for coaching or to participate in teamwork workshops, do not take this negatively. Always keep in mind that these are developed to help you be at your best and ultimately succeed in your goals.

Team Communication 101

www.PsPrint.com

Do you know where all problems arise and derive from?  All the problems in the world and be cured with this one thing.  This one thing that is very seldom taught in our schools all over the world.  The one thing that can make this world work together and it is not even a requirement to graduate high school.  Do you know what it is???  Communication.

The reason we have wars, drama, anxiety, fear, fighting, is because of miscommunication.  The better communication we have the better our results.  What in life occurs without communication?  Can you think of one thing?  I cannot, except maybe breathing.  Even breathing can communicate something to other people.

Team communication is even more challenging and more powerful.  When teams or groups communicate on a high level their results that they achieve are outstanding.  Think about it.  Do you think there is much drama and fighting on an Olympic team, or a super bowl team?  How about a successful marriage?  The answer is No.  No because the teammates are so focused on what they want to achieve more than themselves.   This all starts and finishes with communication.

Individual and team communication are also great life coaching tools that many coaches, trainers and mentors use around the world.  This is used because the trainers know that great communication create greats success.  The most powerful people that have walked this planet have all been great communicators.  All great leaders have to know how to communicate so they can get what they want done.

There is an old saying that says ‘The more uncomfortable conversations you have the more successful you become’.  This is without a doubt to be true.  The greater communicator that you personally become the more successful you will be in whatever endeavor that you desire.  Seek to become a great communicator and you will achieve a great life.
